Great weekend at the Louisville Slugger Sports Complex in Peoria, IL finishing in 1st place in the 18U division. We went 6-0 outscoring our opponents 39-2. This improves the season record to 42-4-2. Great weekend at the Louisville Slugger Sports Complex in Peoria, IL finishing in 1st place in the 18U division. We went 5-0 outscoring our opponents 54-4 with a team batting average of 0.504 with 33 extra base hits including 11 HR’s. Great job ladies! #LightningPride

These ladies went 6-1 this weekend, losing the only game in the championship at the Queen of the Hill championship. Great start to the season against great competition. They outscored their opponents 33-15 in 7 games improving their fall record to 16-2. Great job ladies!!! #LightningPride

These ladies had a great weekend going 6-0 on the way to their first championship of the season. And to top it all off, they were playing up in the 18U division. The team was firing on all cylinders, outscoring their opponents 43-9. Offensively the team batting average was 0.388 with 19 extra base hits, including 7 home runs, 22 stolen bases and pitchers that combined for a total of 43 K's. These ladies had a great weekend going 5-0 in Dayton, OH at the College Showcase Elite Invite. They outscored their opponents 52-14. Offensively the team finished with a 0.374 batting average along with 19 extra base hits. Pitching was strong with 42K's to only 7BB's. These ladies had a rough started on Saturday that ended in a great run on Sunday. In bracket play they outscored their opponents 31-0 in the first three games before losing in the championship game 9-7. It was a great run with a lot of offense. Our season came to and end at the PGF National Championships where these ladies went 8-3-1 on the week (7-2 in bracket play) and finished in 3rd place out of 86 teams in the platinum division. Our only bracket losses came to the teams in the championship game, the Impact Gold National Smith and Birmingham Thunderbolts. We beat the champions (T-Bolts) 6-4 forcing an "if" game that we lost 3-2 which kept us out of the championship game. What an incredible season by this group of girls. Great job ladies!! The Wisconsin Lightning Spring team had a great spring season. This team was comprised of players brought together from 5 organizations to allow the 8th graders to play while their teammates were away playing high school. These ladies killed it, finishing the season with a 22-3 record, winning a 16U division tournament along with a 2nd & 3rd place finish in other tournaments. Great job ladies!! #LightningPride

Wisconsin Lightning 2024 kicked off the outdoor season with a second place finish at the Indiana Gator/Indiana Magic Gold Invitational in Indianapolis, IN. These ladies went 5-2 with the only losses coming to the #1 ranked team in the country, Beverly Bandits. The championship game ended in a 1-0 loss. Wisconsin Lightning 2024 finished the winter dome season with a win in the Icicle Invite at the Louisville Slugger Sports Complex in Peoria, IL. These ladies bats were on fire with a team batting average of 0.475 including 19 extra base hits and 4 of them being HR's. They outscored their opponents 50-8.
